IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING WEBSITES
Very important for those not yet familiar with companion site www.GB-PhilatelicGems.com
The GBphilately website was first published in 1999. Over the years a number of changes and improvements have been made with ease of use and lack of gimmicks being an essential feature at all times. Some months ago we acknowledged the demand for a facility to enable processing of payment by credit or debit card. This facility has been welcomed especially by overseas customers. We have now following further requests established a secure server to enable 24 hour online payment in addition to the current telephone or mail order payments.
In order to host this secure server we have created a companion website www. GB-PhilatelicGems.com. Once fully installed towards the end of June 2008 the vast majority of items appearing on the gbphilately site will also be listed on the GBphilaticGems site. As well as hosting the secure server this new site also has a shopping trolley and checkout and a search engine which will enable specific searching for items using not only key words but by SG Concise Catalogue numbers. There is also the opportunity to create your own (optional) password protected personal account

Search Engine Tips: You may search by key word eg "red shift" or "missing gold". You can also search by SG Concise catalogue number. If you search under 813 you will find all stock items relating to errors on the 1969 Christmas 5d value. If you search under 813a it will show if the 1969 5d value missing blue is in stock. |

There will be some items that are best illustrated in detail on the gbphilately site and checking here may be prudent before putting into shopping trolley, such items include some of the colour shifts.
Some items will appear only on gbphilately website. This will include any items listed as "price on request"
Some items will appear only on the GB-PhilatelicGems website. This will eventually be all the unmounted mint singles of missing phosphor errors, missing embossing errors and missing phosphor and embossing errors. Availability easily being checked using search engine.
Any item appearing only on the gbphilately website can (even if not listed on GB-PhilatelicGems) still be paid for using the secure server. To do so you just need to email us your order and we will create a personalised payment button to be found in the "customised orders" section of GB-PhilatelicGems.
